I registered at the new website and got a notice that the new site has been removed. I am barely computer literate about this kind of stuff. Is this correct or did I mess up somehow?

Hi Judith, the new site was taken down as well. For now we all on standby until we hear from DStanley. For more information when it comes in click on this link – http://tvsr1.chatango.com/ to join chatroom you may have to register. Hope this helps
      Cheers

Vix, thanks for your response. How do I register? I looked and could find no instructions on Chatango on how to register to read mail on a site – only how to register for my own site. Judy

Judith, you don’t have to register. When you type in the chat box at the bottom and hit enter, it will ask you if you want to go anon or to set a name or to to sign in. You can set a name and while you have the chat page open it will continue to use that name for you.

I registered and when I go to http://tvsr1.chatango.com I get a blank screen with only this:
    Chantango
    Like Help

TVSR This page now works on Android 4+ (in Chrome) and on iOS

I don’t see a sign on area anywhere, Am I signing in to the correct screen? Thanks, Judy

If you have a Windows computer open the URL with Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer should be installed by default. You don’t need to keep it open, only as long as you can see the chat page.

Thank you, thank you, Vexacious. Your solution solved a very frustrating situation. The only thing I hadn’t tried was typing the website name in when I couldn’t reach it by clicking on the link. thanks also to Vix and Vexabex for your assistance.
