What to Watch Thursday: Wilfred Bow-Wows Out, Rookie Blue Terror, NFL Kicks Off and More

 WilfredOn TV this Thursday: Wilfred closes the doggy door on another season, a Rookie dodges bullets (and maybe catches one?), Project Runway sweats it out and the NFL puts the pigskin in play once more.

8 pm The Vampire Diaries (The CW) | Repeat to Revisit: Stefan and Damon attempt to turn Elena’s humanity back on by bombarding her with emotion at prom. (A+ for effort, guys, but…)

8:30 pm Sunday Night Football (NBC) | Season 27 premiere: The Baltimore Ravens go up against the Denver Broncos in Colorado in the season opener.

9 pm Project Runway (Lifetime) | The remaining designers put the “sweat” in sweatshop by competing in field-day events for extra work time and then creating performance wear for Heidi Klum’s New Balance line. Michael Kors returns as guest judge.

9 pm Burn Notice (USA Network) | James now knows what Michael really is up to. Uh-oh….

9 pm Tamar & Vince (We tv) | Season 2 premiere: Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert prep for the arrival of their first child and Tamar’s new album.

10 pm Rookie Blue (ABC) | Star Gregory Smith directs this episode, in which the officers of 15 Division realize they’re being targeted by someone out for revenge, and Oliver has what the show’s official synopsis calls a “gut-wrenching, life-changing moment.”

10 pm Luther (BBC America) | Luther thinks a vigilante killer may be behind three recent deaths.

10 pm Wilfred (FX) | Season finale: Jenna bars Ryan from seeing Wilfred when he needs him most. (Not yet renewed.)
