The CW Has Pulled the Plug on Emily Owens, M.D.

Apparently today is Obvious Cancellation Day, because The CW has followed Fox’s lead and made the long-overdue decision to whack Emily Owens, M.D.. The first-year show was six episodes into its first season when The CW said no more.

But there WILL be more, for this is the season where shows that networks don’t want to see a fourteenth episode of get to put all of their produced episodes on the air. All 13 episodes of Emily Owens, M.D. will be broadcast so that you can get closure and the actors and crew can pick up a few more paychecks.

The most recent episode of Emily Owens, M.D., which aired last night, drew one million viewers and a 0.3 rating in the adult demo, which may as well have been a flatline.
