USA has announced the winter premiere dates for Suits, White Collar and Necessary Roughness.
Season 2 of Suits, which stars Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams, will return with six new episodes on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 10/9c. The legal drama was the top-rated summer cable drama in the adults 18-to-49 demographic and hit a season high with its midseason finale in August, drawing 6.5 million viewers.
White Collar will return for the second half of its fourth seasonon Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 10/9c. The series stars Tim DeKay and Matt Bomer, whose character was stunned in the midseason finale when he found out Sam Phelps (Treat Williams) was actually his father.
Necessary Roughness will debut five new episodes beginning on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 10/9c. The show stars Callie Thorne as a sports psychologist to a big New York football team.
USA has finally ordered another season of its new hit Suits, which is currently on hiatus and halfway through its second season. Season 3 will run for 16 episodes when it gets underway next summer. Hey USA, just go ahead and order a fourth season and a fifth season now, why don’t ya?
Suits‘ midseason finale, which aired in late August, set series records for ratings and drew 4.48 million viewers (plus a couple million more, after DVR figures were added in) and a 1.5 adult demo rating. It joins the recently renewed Royal Pains, White Collar, and Covert Affairs as a returning USA show.
Elisabeth Hower is trading Pants for Suits.
The actress, who most recently starred in MTV’s short-lived comedy I Just Want My Pants Back, has booked a multi-episode arc on USA’s Suits, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Hower will play Tess, a childhood friend of Mike’s (Patrick J. Adams) who turns up just when he needs her most.
She’s set to debut in the show’s midseason finale on Aug. 23.
