Banshee: Julian Sands Books Season 2 Arc as [Spoiler]‘s Divine Sibling
Ruh-roh: Banshee‘s resident Big Bad has a brother — and he too has evil coursing through his veins.
Julian Sands (24, Smallville) has booked a multi-episode Season 2 arc on the Cinemax hit as Rabbit’s (Ben Cross) equally as dangerous younger brother who also happens to be a devout and amoral Ukrainian priest.
Sands is set to appear in three episodes.
Sands joins a Season 2 guest cast that also includes Damages Emmy winner Zeljko Ivanek as Jim Racine, a chain smoking, renegade FBI agent who has been tracking Rabbit for 15 years.
Banshee ended its freshman season last month as Cinemax’s most-watched original series.
Production on Season 2 began this week.

Spoiler TV’s Scene Of The Week
1.Show: FRINGE
Episode: 5.08 – The Human Kind
Date: December 7, 2012
Actors: Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson
The Scene: The last scene of the episode. Why did I choose it? Because it’s one of these amazing little scenes they have on Fringe quite often actually. The ones that bring out the emotions, show the love between characters and are perfect example of the remarkable work done by the actors. I just absolutely adore the fact that even though Peter was shutting down his feelings, he was still fighting it, in a way, that beautiful flashbacks (which are something I LOVE on every show!) about Olivia, Walter and Etta and Olivia’s speech brought him back. At least to the point where he literally cut the tech out of his head (BTW that was one powerful moment itself!). And then there’s the way his face suddenly changes (really nice job here by Joshua!) as he falls down and Olivia embraces him. And they’re back. Finally.
Quote:
“She saved my life today with the bullet she brought to us. She’s alive inside us. And there’s nothing that Windmark can do about it, because the love that we can share with her now is invulnerable to space and time, even to them. We need to hold on to our connection with Etta, feeling what we felt for her, or she dies all over again. And we cannot let her be erased.” Olivia
2.Show: ONCE UPON A TIME
Episode: 2.09 – Queen of Hearts
Date: December 2, 2012
Actors: Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin and Barbara Hershey
The Scene: The entire fight between Emma&Snow vs Cora&Hook was one of my favorites scenes of the episode, but it’s the part where Cora goes after Snow trying to rip her heart out and Emma saves her that amazed me. I remember watching this scene very well with million thoughts going through my head, the gasp and being absolutely terrified that one of our heroines is about to lose a heart. But Emma actually becoming THE savior was outstanding. It’s not just incredibly powerful, brilliantly acted and directed moment, but also pretty big step forward for our hero. And let’s not forget, thanks to the power of her pure magic, she and Snow finally made their way back home where we got another beautiful scenes of reunion.

Last Resort and 666 Park Get Additional Script Orders; Mindy Project’s Season Extended
Two freshman ABC dramas received votes of confidence on Friday, while one brand-new Fox hit just became a bigger one.
Both Last Resort, which this Thursday inched up 6 percent after two weeks of slippage, and 666 Park Avenue, which has dipped each week since its debut, have received orders for two additional scripts. While that is well shy of receiving a full-season (or “back 9″) pick-up, it at the very least serves as an indicator that a network has faith enough to see where a new show might be headed.
In fact, Last Resort cocreator Shawn Ryan tweeted earlier this evening that next week’s episode of the military/island drama is his and partner Karl Gajdusek’s “favorite since the pilot.”
Fox’s The Mindy Project, meanwhile, already received a full-season order earlier this month– but that freshman run is now bigger. Fox has ordered two additional episodes, bringing the good doc’s first cycle to 24 episodes.
