The network renewed Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes and Perception for fifth, third and third seasons respectively, the cabler announced Thursday.
Each series received 15-episode runs that will bow in Summer 2014.
Rizzoli‘s current season has performed well in the ratings: When you factor in Live+7 DVR playback, the series is averaging 8.4 million viewers, 2.3 million of which are in the advertiser-attractive 18-49 demo.
Jane and Maura will take break after Sept. 10 and return in early 2014.
Meanwhile, Closer offshoot Major Crimes will wrap Aug. 19 and finish up its second season with a run of episodes beginning in November. The Eric McCormack-starring Perception, which goes on hiatus after Aug. 27, will unspool the rest of its second season after the new year.
The trio of crime dramas joins Falling Skies, which received a fourth season renewal in July.
Ex-Party of Fiver Scott Wolf is joining the second season of TNT’s Perception as a guy with very close ties to Rachael Leigh Cook‘s G-woman Kate, TVLine has learned.
Wolf will play the recurring role of Donnie, a charismatic, fast-rising Assistant U.S. Attorney recently transferred back to Chicago, which just so happens to be where his aforementioned soon-to-be ex-wife resides.
Mere coincidence? Or does Donnie have a hidden agenda where Kate is concerned? (Spoiler alert: It’s the latter!)
Perception, which stars Eric McCormack as an eccentric neuroscientist and university professor who possesses that special Mentalist bug, kicks off its second season this summer.
