After a near-death experience (choking on a hero sandwich), Beth is revived only to realize she now has a direct line to God. Of course, her husband Tom is skeptical and dismissive – and his mistress is all but hostile that her lover’s wife is now a prophet! But when inexplicable things begin to happen, everyone’s beliefs are tested. Beth starts to say and do things that shock her family and entrance her friends, but she isn’t going to be your typical “fire and brimstone” prophet. Let’s just say if God had a desperate housewife as His mouthpiece, Beth would be it! She is the absolute last person on Earth who would be chosen. Then again, they say He works in mysterious ways. And this one is a real mystery! (Source: NBC)

Viewers will gain access inside the world of modeling with “The Face,” which features three teams of models, each led by supermodel coaches Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha. The coaches will scout and choose their teams from aspiring young models nationwide before guiding them through assignments, which include photo shoots, runway shows and commercials for some of America’s best known brands. Throughout the series, the supermodel coaches will mentor these young hopefuls taking the lessons and skills they have learned and using them to guide their teams through challenges that accurately depict what it takes to have a career as a model and be the face of a brand. During the process, these young models will be exposed to the very best photographers, stylists and designers in the fashion world. In the end, one girl will be chosen to become ‘The Face’ of a well-known brand, earning a real contract as the brand ambassador. As the image of this brand, the winner will become a spokesperson for that company, representing it from all angles – in print, on-air and at brand-hosted events. (Source: oxygen.com)

The “Underground Railroad”, a vast network of people who helped fugitive slaves escape to the North and to Canada, was not run by any single organization or person. Rather, it consisted of many individuals — many whites but predominently black — who knew only of the local efforts to aid fugitives and not of the overall operation. Still, it effectively moved hundreds of slaves northward each year — according to one estimate, the South lost 100,000 slaves between 1810 and 1850.

A unique blend of a police and medical drama inspired by the real-life experiences of police officers and mental-health professionals, presenting a bold depiction of the psychological side of policing and the emotional impact on front-line workers and reflecting the reality that an overwhelming percentage of police calls involve people with mental illnesses or psychiatric disorders. The Psych Crimes Unit struggles to achieve balance between protecting the public from harm and protecting the dignity of all citizens, often at the expense of their own mental health.
