Mike Rowe has confirmed via The Huffington Post that Dirty Jobs is not returning for another season. This announcement comes hot on the heels of Discovery canceling American Chopper, another long-running series.
Mommy dearest is coming to town!
90210 has cast Head of the Class actress Robin Givens in an upcoming episode, we’ve exclusively learned, and she’ll be taking on a juicy role: mother to two of the characters!
The twist? We’ve yet to meet either of Givens’ fictional offspring on the show.
Givens is set to take on the role of Cheryl, Elizabeth (Keke Palmer) and Jordan’s (Robbie Jones) sophisticated East Coast mother who is on the fast-track to political greatness. Cheryl is willing to go to great lengths to protect and preserve her pristine family image.
Jones is set to make his debut on the CW soap as Jordan, an intelligent publisher who may be a potential new love interest for Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) in the second half of the season, so we’re thinking Naomi and Crystal are definitely going to butt heads. We. Can’t. Wait. Tru Jackson, VP‘s Palmer will take on the role of Jordan’s sis Elizabeth and both siblings are currently recurring roles, while Givens is only slated to appear in one episode.
After starring as Darlene in over 100 episodes of Head of the Class, Givens starred on series such as Courthouse and Spark and has made guest appearances on Chuck, Retired at 35 and Suburgatory.
90210 returns Monday, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. on the CW.
