• WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler suffered a heart attack Monday during a live broadcast of Raw. The 62-year-old — who acts as commentator on the weekly series and also steps back into the ring from time to time, as he did Monday night — collapsed ringside during a match and was taken to a Montreal-area hospital, where he is now said to be stable and breathing on his own. “We are hopeful Jerry makes a full recovery and returns to WWE in the near future,” the WWE said in a statement. “Our thoughts are with Jerry and his family.”
• Merlin actor Tom Hopper has joined Black Sails, Starz’s new eight-episode series from exec producer Michael Bay, Deadline reports. Set two decades before Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Treasure Island, the drama centers on Captain Flint and his men aboard the Walrus, with Hopper playing the first mate.
