'Rookie Blue' Season 4 Spoilers: Details on Two New Characters

Rookie Blue may have just aired its third season finale on Thursday night with the very strong “I Never,” which ended with Andy and Nick heading off on Luke’s task force assignment, but there are already teasers out about season 4 and new characters joining.

According to a press release about the fourth season, “New and old romantic ties come to light as new rookie recruits Chloe Price (Priscilla Faia) and Senior Uniformed Officer Marlo Cruz (Rachel) join the team. Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym), Dov Epstein (Gregory Smith), Chris Diaz (Travis Milne), Traci Nash (Enuka Okuma), Gail Peck (Charlotte Sullivan), and Nick Collins (Peter Mooney) all return for Season 4.”

Since Andy and Nick are leaving 15 Division behind for now, it makes sense there would be a new rookie by the time they get back (Rookie Blue season 4 will be picking up six months later). Will Chloe end up involved with one of the returning characters? Will Marlo? 15 Division did lose Jerry on the job in season 3, so they are going to need some new faces to fill in any gaps left by promotions, deaths, assignments, and the like.

What will Andy and Nick think of these new characters and the new rookie when they get back? Things are going to be different in season 4, and that includes the dynamics in 15 Division. Will these new characters end up doing something that rubs Andy and Nick the wrong way when they return from the task force assignment, or will they fit right in?
